Troodi

Troodi is an approximately 7 year old, 47 lb female who needs a new foster. Troodi, we have learned, can climb her foster’s 5 ft fence and needs a higher fence to keep her from getting out of the yard. When she does get out though, she just wanders around and comes back to her foster’s door.

She is good with other dogs, though she has no problems giving a warning growl when she has a toy or bone she wants. She is also okay with cats who are dog-savvy; right now she stares and whines at her feline foster friend but is not aggressive or trying to chase them. She is also house-trained and crate-trained, and is doing well on leash and in the home. We have not tested her with kids, but she is a sweet, friendly girl who would likely be fine in a home with older children. She is missing a toe nail on one of her paws, and the toe pad is smaller than the rest, so this may be the result of a birth defect or old injury but it does not seem to bother beyond a slight hitch in her giddy-yap.

She is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, heartworm negative and is looking for a moderately active home where she can play but also relax as her heart desires!
