Chester and his siblings were rescued from a 30+ dog hoarding case in North Texas. At about 8 months old and 37 lbs., Chester says:
“Hi, my name is Chester, or as my foster mom calls me Chet!
I am a very curious boy on the search for a home to call my own. I am doing well with my crate training and housetraining. I have learned to walk on a leash this week and will keep working on going new places with my foster pack.
I love having a doggie door and a secure fenced yard to play in. You can catch me napping in the sun or running in circles in the yard with a ball. I will settle myself into a spot to allow head scratches and belly rubs. I have thought about jumping up to sit on the couch, but not quite yet.
Sometimes my puppy side wins over and I try to sneak a bite from your plate or hide your stinky running shoes in my bed. Oh, did I mention I love plushy beds? And FOOD! No loud kids though – screaming or running get me all sorts of worked up!
My ideal home would be someone who may work remotely from home or someone who works part time. I tend to get a little lonely at times when left for long periods of time.
To help with this, I would love to have one or two dog friends my size or bigger to play with. Maybe my dog friends are also crated when you’re gone and we could be neighbors in our happy crates?!”
