Misty and her siblings were rescued from a 30+ dog hoarding case in North Texas and are a part of our Heartland 29 group. Approximately 8 months old and 27-ish lbs, Misty has done very well in her foster home.
After a few weeks, inside the house, she is totally comfortable. She plays, wags her tail, chews her toys and even started zooming. She goes to her foster mom and dad for hugs, although she wants to initiate. Only negative so far is she won’t share the toys with the other dog in the household and she gets jealous when her foster dad pays attention to the other dog.
Outside, she is still working on walking nicely. Overall she does great, especially when she is walked with another dog. But she is still scared of loud noises and other people and as she finishes up her walk and gets closer to home, she starts pulling. She can’t get home fast enough!!
