Viix and her siblings were rescued from a 30+ dog hoarding case in North Texas.
Viix (approximately 6-7 months old and 28-ish lbs) was originally one of the least likely to allow being pet. Since being in foster care, she has improved dramatically and is more than happy to let her foster mom pet her belly and head (not dad just yet though). An active pup, Viix loves to run and chase her sister as well as give kisses to every other dog in her path (whether they want it or not). She is active, smart, loves to get into things she shouldn’t – basically, a Border Collie puppy!
She will start working on leash training but is house-trained with regular trips outside. She is extremely food-motivated and likes toys, though she is not obsessed with them. She is less active than her littermate sister, Sistene (who she is fostered with), so we think Viix would make a great active companion or family pet. She will settle in the office, but you’ll want to make sure she has plenty to chew on when she wakes up from her nap because if not, she will find something herself. She is great about checking in with her foster mom when outside although she is independent and will explore on her own. Viix will take some time to warm up in a new household, but having another playful fur-sibling or two will make the transition so much smoother!
