Description
Jazzy is a stray from Louisiana who was found by a private individual who couldn’t keep her. She sent her to one of our rescue partners in LA, and from there, to BCSAVE. About a year to two years old, Jazzy is a sweet soul who doesn’t like a lot of commotion. She is shy at first, but learning to trust people. At about 41 lbs, Jazzy is a tad heavy for her frame but starting to get more active so we expect that she will drop the extra pound or two very quickly. She gets along with other dogs and loves children, but has shown some herding tendencies (of livestock) that an adopter would need to be aware of. Unfortunately, Jazzy is heartworm positive and has begun fast kill treatment at her foster’s home. She can be adopted with a heartworm contract prior to the completion of her treatment, and BCSAVE will work with her adopter to make sure that the protocol is fully paid for if she gets a FURever home.
