Sprite

We got a call from a friend of a friend of a friend several weeks ago. A family had a small Border Collie female that they found about a year ago. No original owner was ever found so they kept her and took care of her but came to realize that she was not getting enough in the way of mental or physical enrichment. They heard about BCSAVE and thought we’d be able to find her a more fulfilling home.

Sprite (formerly known as Bella) is about 1.5 years old and a petite 20 (yes, twenty!) lbs. Even tiny, she can hold her own against a larger dog and is no wallflower. She has a history of squirrel chasing, so we don’t know how she’d do with cats. She does get along with other dogs. We don’t know if she has any toy drive but if she does, we know all you mini/ micro sport dog folks will be knocking down the doors this for lil’ bit! She’s light on her feet, confident but likes cuddles, and is house and leash-trained (crate is unknown at this time).
