Willow is a 7-8 month old, 22 lb BC mix pup found as a stray in Fort Worth. Under 16″ at the withers, she LOVES people but has some reactivity towards other dogs. Her foster is currently working with her, so we’ll keep everyone posted.

Willow is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. She is just a little cautious when she meets new people but quickly forgets and loves everyone, male or female. She will jump in your lap for long snuggles and kisses. Her weight and height make it easy to pick her up and carry her around like a sheltie!

She pays ball and will fetch, most times, lol. She loves tennis balls and toys that crinkle and squeak.. particularly a large stuffed chicken from Pets Supplies Plus. She enjoys tug of war with the leash toys with fluff at the end.
She is very high energy and will run around the backyard at great speed.

She knows how to sit and is crate trained and is working on the down command.

She has not shown to be friendly with other dogs. She will snap without much warning other than the intense BC stare. We don’t know if it is fear based or just overactive herding (because it is always to the head). She does go crazy in her kennel when she sees another dog enter the room. She can also out stare any larger BC and can probably intimidate cattle despite her small size, and will bark and lunge while on leash.

We think Willow would do well in an experienced home with no other pets that can work with her dog reactivity.
