Charlie was another one of BCSAVE’s special pups. Charlie was a very active pup, with an intense herding drive and a singular focus that sometime led to injury. At first, BCSAVE thought Charlie was just accident-prone, but after several repeated vet visits, determined that Charlie had a skin condition that made him very susceptible to serious cuts and tears of his skin with the slightest trauma. Charlie became such a regular visitor to the vet’s office that one of his vets eventually fell in love with Charlie’s great demeanor and goofy attitude and decided to adopt him! Now, Charlie lives the life – hanging out with his dad at work, being spoiled by all the vets and vet techs at the office, and going home to a wonderful family every night.
