Callie is a year old BC who was found as a stray in Collin County with Lex. Prior to her transfer to BCSAVE, Callie was treated for a hematoma which did not resolve and progressed into “cauliflower ear”. She has since been treated for the hematoma and an underlying ear infection and does not seem to be in pain, though any adopter will need to continue to watch her in case her ear gets worse. She was also extremely matted and her hindquarters were shaved. She has a 1/4 tail, though we are not sure if the short tail is due to injury or from birth. She is a lovable pup, quick to come up to strangers for scratches and hugs. She is also moderately active girl who is showing some toy and food drive. She gets along well with other dogs and kids, and did great at her first meet and greet.
