Jess is a purebred 9 month old (as of 11.19) Border Collie female who comes from a line of working stock. She was surrendered to a rural shelter with her brother, Dutch, as the breeder had too many pups. At 21 lbs, Jess is a pocket-size BC, and we do not expect her to get much bigger at all. She is a very friendly girl who likes to run and play, and has already shown some toy interest. She may also be a good prospect for agility though her trainer will need to help her build her confidence. Jess gets along with other dogs and people, and while shy at first, warms up quickly. She will be spayed December 20 and is available for adoption either before 12.20 with a spay contact, or after.
