Beau

Beau (originally named Mork) was found early in April 2021 wandering on the edge of town near a marina near Corpus Christi. He has a collar but no tags, and the finder and shelter looked far and wide for an owner but none came forward. The Animal Control Officer wanted to make sure he was placed with a good BC knowledgeable home. They were referred to us by a long time volunteer and foster who knew we’d be able to assist!
So far, we know he’s good with dogs, though unknown on cats and children. Beau is very people friendly and so far has shown himself to have fairly good dog manners. He is super playful and absolutely loves playing ball, with his next favorite thing being tug of war. He is house-broken, but has some separation anxiety. His foster has nicknamed him “Destroyer” because no matter the length of time, if you don’t take him with you when you walk out the door, he’s gonna destroy something. He also destroys toys in 3.5 seconds – no playing with the toys or stuffed animals, just wants to rip it up and once it’s ripped up, he’s done with it. But his most favorite thing? To cuddle and give kisses, of which he will give you an ENDLESS amount.
