Cochise

Cochise and his brother Max are 6 year old purebred Border Collie boys out of the Macon, Georgia area. They joined us after being rescued by a fellow BC rescue in the Atlanta area from a hoarding case. They were two out of several dogs that were pulled and transferred to different rescues. Littermates, Max and Cochise are both extremely sweet and loving pups, extremely well-socialized considering the home life they can from. They both have lost a lot of hair due to flea allergies, and are currently being fed fish oil and supplements to help grow their coats back.

Cochise is the lover of the two, always wanting to snuggle with his people. He gets along fine with other dogs but would prefer to spend his time getting scratched and petted instead of playing with other dogs. He is crate and house trained, and would do great in a quieter home where he could spend his time getting spoiled. He seems to be a low-moderate energy pup who would be content to sit by your feet.
