Derek

Derek was picked up as a stray in Parker County and taken to the Parker County Animal Shelter. He was doing very poorly in the shelter, shutting down and not responding to shelter staff. Our friends at the shelter immediately reached out to us to see if we could assist and we picked him up as soon as we could.

At 36 lbs, Derek is slightly underweight and very leery of people. He seems to be moderately active, preferring walking to running. He also has not engaged much with any of the pups in his current foster home. He does like treats though and while he won’t let you pet him, he will readily take treats from your hand. He will remain as “Coming Soon” until he gets a little more acclimated to people.
