Doc, a purebred male Border Collie, was owner-surrendered to the Arlington Shelter with an Aussie due to “moving”. Considered a senior, Doc was still in great shape and didn’t show any sign of age. A very sweet dog, he was shy and reserved at first but opened up immensely with his foster, who often posted the most entertaining posts about Doc. It was one of these fabulous posts that caught the attention of Doc’s mom-to-be, all the way from South Carolina! After we determined Doc’s next move would be to SC, we worked with a transporter who drove two days to get Doc (and others) across the US from TX to their new homes.

Doc now gets to enjoy his days on the coast with new brothers and sisters to keep him busy!
