BCSAVE pulled Donny from a shelter and he immediately showed signs of kennel cough. After quarantining and treating him, Donny’s kennel cough progressed to bronchitis and pneumonia and we took him back to the vet. at several vet visits and two different opinions, we believe that Donny may have contracted distemper. Unfortunately, even after changing treatment and providing as much medical support as possible, Donny couldn’t fight off the disease and passed in his sleep. We remember and honor his memory and remind everyone to please vaccinate your pets to prevent them from dying from this horrible disease.
