Jane

Jane is a 6 year old purebred female who was surrendered from a breeder who retired her from her breeding program. Jane is a sweet girl who loves nothing more than to give your legs hugs and get scratched on the top of her head. She is a moderately active pup who likes to take walks and explore the yard, but so far, has been just as content to hang out on her dog bed. She doesn’t like a lot of hubbub or commotion and gets a little nervous when there is too much going on, but will easily retreat to her crate or bed and give herself a break. Jane can also be a little resource-guardy of her person – she guards doors that they are behind, maybe to protect them from roving bands of marauders? She also doesn’t like pushy dogs, so dog friends should be mature, sensible, calm pups like herself.

She is house-trained though she hasn’t learned the dog door yet, and can be trusted to be left in a room by herself without causing any issues. She is a couple of pounds overweight, but should be able to lose that easily with lots of fun walks and fewer treats. She has not been cat or kid tested, but should make a wonderful companion for someone who is looking for a cuddly pup who just wants to be your best friend.
