Jess was a purebred 9 month old Border Collie female who came from a line of working stock. She was surrendered to a rural shelter with her brother, Dutch, as the breeder had too many pups. At 21 lbs, Jess was a pocket-size BC who we think was really surrendered because she was too small to work cattle. A very friendly girl who liked to run and play, she won over the hearts of her new mom and dad after they met her at a local adoption event. Having recently lost their last BC, Jess was an early Christmas present that filled the hole in their heart.
