Kelly

Kelly is a 27 lb, BC mix (maybe with Kelpie?) pup who was surrendered by her owner (along with five female puppies) to the Young County Humane Society. She is a high energy, active pup who likes to play with toys and balls. She also has some serious hops, and can jump a baby gate with no issues. She gets along with other dogs and is cat tolerant. So far, she has shown a couple of behavior quirks – she chases her tail on occasion, and also barks at shadows sometimes.

Unfortunately, she is heartworm positive and has begun her fast kill treatment as of January 2022. She is available as a foster to adopt but she will need to have her activity severely restricted for 60 days (late March to late May) while she receives her heartworm shots.
