Layla is approximately 2 years old, and a BC mix out of the Cleburne TX shelter. The shelter contacted us when Layal started to shows some stress in the kennel, and they were concerned about her adoptability. We went and assessed her and found her to be a sweet, playful, if slightly hesitant pup and agreed to bring into the BCSAVE family. Since arriving, she has not shown any of the reactivity she displayed while in the shelter, but we are taking crate-training very slowly so as not to spook her.

She gets along good with other dogs so far, and seems to be house-trained. She is not a super active pup, but that may change as she gets more comfortable in her foster home. She is sweet and likes people and has been an easy pup to have in her foster home. She still needs to be heartworm tested and possibly spayed, but we expect her to be available to adopt soon after.
