Mahla

Mahla was a stray found in W. Texas who was saved by a rescue angel who quickly realized she had a litter of puppies that were nowhere to be found! The rescue angel eventually found the puppies and Mahla and her EIGHT pups were brought to the Fort Worth area. She has weaned her puppies and now Mahla and her pups are available to adopt.
Mahla is the sweetest girl who loves to give hugs and kisses. She is a little submissive and will roll over if challenged, but is getting more and more confident every day. She gets along great with other dogs, and would do well with dog-savvy cats (she has more than a passing interest in them but has not shown any prey behavior). She is kid-friendly also. She has not been spayed yet as she needs to wait a few weeks after she’s fully weaned her pups, but that should happen by early June. She is also getting more and more active every day, and has discovered a love of running with the other dogs so her new family must be able an active one. She also needs to continue to learn basic house-manners, as she has developed a habit of counter-surfing and love of shoes. But she is sweet, sweet, sweet and charms everyone she meets.
