Marty

Marty was a stray who was found by a rescue angel. At approximately 2 years old and 41 lbs., Marty gets along great with other dogs, cats, kids and people. He may have been an outdoor dog, because he is does not have a lot of house manners right now but is learning. He is active and energetic, and does great on a leash. He does NOT like to be cooped up pin a crate but he can be trusted to free roam or stay in a closed room with no issues. He loves to be outside, and would be a great running or hiking buddy. Inside, he loves to sit right next to his person and snuggle. He can also be a bit of an escape artist if he’s bored and left to his own devices, so his new family will need to spend some time making sure Marty knows his boundaries or have a tall fence. Otherwise, he is a fun, spirited pup who just needs some guidance and direction to become the best pup he can be!
