Miranda

Found in South Texas as a stray, Miranda is a very energetic, herdy girl looking for a place to call her own! Suffering from hair loss due to fleas but getting better every day, Miranda could be your next herding or agility star.

She is a petite 35 lbs and at an estimated 1 year of age, Miranda has so much potential in the right home. She gets along with most dogs, although she does like to push into their space and is no wallflower when standing her ground. She is also an enthusiastic player and loves to chase and is picking up ball/ frisbee nicely with a good return and soft mouth/drop. She also loves to walk on and through things like a cat (back of couch, tables/chairs, straddles back couch to window, climbs over gates) and has been working on weaving driven by treats with success, so agility looks to be in her cards! Smart and fast, she has quickly picked up sit and is working on lay and stay.

Miranda needs an ACTIVE home to keep up with her. A pup-friend would be good, as long as her guarding instincts are kept in check. She has not been spayed as of July 2022, but we are in the process of getting her spayed.
