Myles

Myles is a 5-6 month old, BC/ Aussie mix who joins us with his sister Miriam from Young County (TX). Owner surrendered due to too many dogs in the house, Myles is a little shy at first but warms up quick. Myles is a sweetheart of a pup, mild-mannered and laid back. He doesn’t like a lot of conflicts, so no pushy pup-friends for him. Myles has also had his left eye removed as it was deformed, likely due to a genetic issue but his right eye is perfectly normal and he has no vision impairment at all. Myles likes to wander in the yard, but bring out a ball or toy and he’ll run right over to play. He’s moderately active, and can easily come inside and relax. He can be a little timid at first, but comes easily with a little coaxing and soft voice. He’s learning the crate and getting much better at potty-training.

He has not been heartworm tested yet due to his age though he has started in preventative, so depending on when he gets adopted, a heartworm test will be the responsibility of the adopter. He gets along with other dogs and people, and would probably do fine as a solo dog though a friend is always nice.
