Nick is a year old, purebred Border Collie from Louisiana. Him and his sister, Sally, were owner surrendered from a breeder because as working stock, they did not have the focus or drive the breeder was looking for. A private rescuer took them in late 2019, and BCSAVE was able to pull them into our rescue in 2020 to help them find FURever homes.
Nick is a high energy, strong pup who loves wrestling and running. He has shown some tug drive but is still learning about toys and playing with them. He definitely likes to run, and has good recall already. Nick takes just a little bit to warm up to strangers, but once he does, is a loving, sweet guy who just wants to be pet. He is house, crate and leash trained and does great with other dogs. Nick will need to be with a very active household who can make sure he is given plenty of outlets to burn off energy.
