Olive

Olive is a BC mix girl, about a year old and 40 lbs. She is a Hurricane rescue, found as a stray in late 2020 in Louisiana after a severe round of storms. No owner was found and she was transferred to our rescue partner in Louisiana, who kept her for several weeks and got her healthy, then transferred her to us.
Olive is a social, bouncy, fun, energetic girl who has never met a stranger (human or dog). She has discovered a love of chase, and will bark and run all day with her pup-pals. She loves to snuggle with her people though too, and prefers your bed to her crate. She is fairly house-trained (with a dog door), and does well on a leash though she can pull some. She may have some toy drive, but if other dogs are around, would rather play with them than with toys. She still has puppy energy and manners though, so she can be a little barky and want to chew things she shouldn’t. She can also get a hair resource-guardy, but is easily redirected.
