Paul

šŸ¾ Paul is one of four pups found as strays in the Abilene area. About 3-4 months old when he was found with his littermates, these guys look pretty close to pure working BCs, though we can never guarantee that unless they come with papers. They are active, playful, good with people, and are some pretty fun pups.

Paul is the big goofy pup you canā€™t help but fall in love with as he trips over his huge paws. He gets along well with other dogs, big and small. He loves to play with other dogs and then snuggle up for a nap with them after play time is done.

He does well meeting new people if there is a lead dog to break the ice, if not he is wary but warms up very quickly if treats are offered. He likes to snuggle with people but prefers to be beside you rather than in your lap. Donā€™t be surprised if you feel a cold nose come and bump your leg every once in a while as he likes to follow you around the house and check in with a nose boop. He has started to display some ball drive and recently discovered tug of war. He loves any toy and chew stick/ bone that you give him.

Potty training is going very well and if he does have an accident itā€™s by the door so heā€™s understanding the concept well, just canā€™t communicate/ hold it yet. He sleeps through the night in a kennel with his brother without accidents or crying. With the recent holiday fireworks he had no issue with them at all. He isnā€™t much of a barker if people knock/ other dogs find something to bark about but he will go investigate with them.
