🐾Ranger was one of 7 border collies we rescued from a high-kill Texas shelter after they were abandoned on a property and the neighbor was threatening to shoot them.

Ranger is such an amazing (and gorgeous) boy! He can be a little shy during a first meeting but is super affectionate after he warms up and listens very well to direction/cues. He walks great on a leash and is nonreactive to other dogs. Ranger loves his 2 foster dog brothers and plays with them all day – he would love another dog sibling but does require a slow intro over the course of a few days to get comfortable with a new dog. We believe this is stemmed from Ranger being the only male in his former pack of 7, which included 2 adult females and 4 puppies – it was natural for him to be the protector! Ranger loves walks and affection but also settles very well during the work week and is crate trained.
