Raya

We received a call for help from another rescue for a BC pup that had begun to demonstrate pretty bad dog reactivity and anxiety issues. The other rescue was not able to bring the pup back into their fold, so we sent out our #1 Behaviorist Deeds Canine Connection to assess Raya and let us know if she could be rehabilitated and adopted.

Raya was heavily punished for her reactions, so her fear got worse. She has been decompressing and acclimating to life in the forest (a previous city dog). She has some decent toy play as well so that will be utilized as part of her training once Karen can get it functional! She is under a year old and about 32 pounds and an athletic little thing. Karen and her team will be taking weeks (if not months) working with Raya and building her confidence and showing her that other dogs (and cats) can be her friend.
