RIP-ROARING TO FIND A FOSTER TO ADOPT OR ADOPTIVE HOME!!!
Rip (~2-3 yrs, 34 lbs but underweight) is ready to find a FURever home! What we know about Rip so far:
✅ He’s dog and people friendly, though he can get a little over-enthusiastic in play at times (not cat or kid tested, but we think kids would be fine as he doesn’t show a lot of herdiness yet)
✅ Starting to pick up toys and LOVES treats
✅ Needs work on some house manners – will counter surf or jump on you though if you have a treat, he definitely understands the need to sit
✅ LOVES scratches but someone may have grabbed his collar too many times because he will duck and dodge
✅ Pretty house-trained, but don’t dilly-dally in the AM to let him out
✅ Will crate but not always happily – a bone or treats go a LONG way for him
✅ Will bark outside at unfamiliar noises like thunder (which he is not afraid of)
✅ Will walk on leash though he needs practice
He’s active but not crazy, will settle inside and sleep through the night, and is overall a nice pup who will make a great family pet for an active family.
