Snoopy is a 9-10 month old BC mix puppy (as of 9/21) who came from the Norman OK animal shelter, after being discovered in an abandoned house with 15 other dogs. He was in the shelter for a month, adopted out and was brought back the following day after the family said he was not acclimating well to their children. He was at risk for euthanasia as the shelter was full, so a local private rescuer was able to get him out and to a short term foster.
Initially very scared of new people, Snoopy has really opened up and loves to get his belly pet and his head scratched. He has discovered he loves to play and run and bark with the other dogs, and has even started showing interest in tennis balls, toys and loves swimming. He is still young, so is working on his potty training. He may take a little while to warm up to you and any new circumstances, and will need more practice on a leash but overall he’s a sweet, slightly talkative pup who will make a great family pet.
