Toffee

Toffee was a stray picked up in a small west Texas town and taken to our shelter partner in Graham, TX. A sweet, petite girl, Toffee was a bit of a velcro dog when she first joined BCSAVE. She had some incidents of submissive peeing but as she has gotten more comfortable at her foster’s home, the more confident she has become. She gets along well with other dogs as long as they are not too pushy, preferring gentle play to rough and tumble. Toffee also LOVES to be next to her person, whether on the couch or in bed. She also does not like to be locked in a room and will scratch at the door, but is fine left alone in the house. Toffee is house trained and walks okay on a leash (she could use a little more practice), and has not shown much toy interest yet though that could change.
