Turk

Turk was a stray who was taken in by a shelter with a horrific open neck wound from what they surmise might have been an imbedded collar. Essentially, the skin around his neck was flayed open.
He was in vet care for over a month while he was healing and was released to BCSAVE when he was better. He’s less than a year old and is super sweet, and still has puppy enthusiasm and happiness about everything and everybody. He is extremely social and loves other dogs, people and kids, though he has not been cat-tested. He’s shown himself to be a moderately active pup who loves to play. He walks well on a harness (no collar for him just yet as his neck is still healing), and does great in a car. He is still working on house-training but should pick that up very quickly. At around 38 lbs, this likely Border Colle/ Heeler mix has a little more growing to do and would be great with an active family who has another young pup for him to play with.
