Aurora is a 6-7 month old female BC mix. She was found in Parker County, Texas, roaming busy streets so a kind family picked her up so she wouldn’t get hit. They reached out to us for assistance as they were not able to keep her and because of COVID closures, were not able to take her to the shelter either. She was scanned for a chip and posted as found but no owners came forward, so we agreed to bring her into BCSAVE. Aurora has no tail or dew claws, leading us to think they may have been docked when she was very young. She is feisty, spunky, independent, and a handful, and has already shown some serious ball and toy drive. She is also extremely active, and we will be sending her through our Sport Assessment program to determine just how much drive and focus she has. This process typically lasts several weeks, and helps BCSAVE determine the type of home that would be best for pups like this. Until her assessment is complete, she will remain as “Coming Soon” and not available or immediate adoption.
