Bandit is a long, tall BC mix who was found in the East Texas area by a recue angel. He was being fostered by a family whose older pup didn’t appreciate Bandit’s love for play. They reached out and BCSAVE was able to pull Bandit into the rescue.
Bandit gets along great with other dogs and kids, and has a healthy respect for dog savvy cats. He is an energetic pup, loving to play with other dogs. He is learning house manners, including crate training and not to counter surf or jump. He has just a bit of resource guarding, but we’re working through that as well. He is a fast learner and we suspect he’ll be a great family pet who would do best with a large yard, room to run, and possibly another fur-friend to play with.
Border Collie Save and Rescue, Inc. is an all volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to helping Border Collies throughout Central and North Texas.
