Bix was a six month old BC mix puppy who was originally owner surrendered for killing a chicken, and surrendered the second time because the new owner’s dog did not get along with him. In between his adoption and being returned to the shelter the second time, his tail was injured by his first adopter’s family dog (separation of vertebrae) so it was amputated in mid-October. Bix did not let that slow him down, however! Bix was all puppy, all the time, running and playing and chewing and playing and running some more. A wiggly, waggly ball of love, Bix caught the eye of a new dog family to be and once they met, knew that Bix was the boy for them!
