Carson was a rescue from the Bell County Animal Shelter. He was found with injuries to his face, mouth and jaw, initially though to be from a car accident. He had gone through an initial surgery to repair some of the damage, with a fab vet from Bell County doing a great job of repairing Carson’s upper and lower lips. After a second vet visit and xrays, it was discovered that Carson had been shot in the face with buckshot and that was what had caused all the damage. Shots were still embedded in Carson’s jaw and gum area. He had to get a few teeth extracted due to the injury, and was with a medical foster when he met his new mom-to-be, who was also on medical leave herself. Fast forward to February when both Carson and his new mom-to-be were all healed up and together. Carson is now a spoiled only dog and loving the good life!
