Chaz was part of five Border Collies surrendered to the Abilene Shelter when his owner passed away. Approximately 7 years old, Chaz is sweet but slightly timid and not used to being around people. His coat is dull and rough, probably a result of a poor diet and unfortunately, Chaz is also heartworm positive and has started the fast kill treatment protocol. He has a low energy level right now, though he is getting more active as he gets more social. Chaz gets along with other dogs and would love a quiet home with a couple of friends to spend the rest of his time with.
Chaz completed his heartworm treatment and got a negative test, and was adopted!
