Jessie is an (estimated) 7 year old mixed female who was picked up as a stray by the Weatherford/ Parker County shelter. She is a sweet girl who loves people but needs very slow introductions to other dogs. She does not like rambunctious dogs that get in her face and will growl and snap to let them know. She does seems fine with cats and seems to be a low to moderately active pup who appears house and leash trained. She looks to be mixed with possibly Great Pyrenees or other larger, fluffier dog.
Unfortunately, Jessie is high heartworm positive and will need to go through fast kill treatment. She can be placed in a foster to adopt home until she completes her heartworm treatment.
