Description
Mercury is a lean 41 lb mostly black and white Border Collie boy who is looking for a great family home. He is around a year old, and has been neutered and is heartworm negative. He is extremely friendly and social, getting along with people, dogs, and even cats. He crates, leashes and does well in the home with very little supervision. He can get excitable and jump up on his human, but is working on his manners when greeting new people. He’s a medium-high energy level pup who likes to run and *really* likes to chase and herd other dogs. He can get a little pushy with the herding at times, but can be called off. He does not show much toy or tug drive, but does love his treats. He would be great in an urban home with good exercise outlets and mental stimulation, or an active family.
Border Collie Save and Rescue, Inc. is an all volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to helping Border Collies throughout Central and North Texas.
