Sugar Bear is approximately 5 yrs old and likely a Border Collie/ Aussie mix. She was owner surrendered to the local shelter by an elderly couple in Louisiana after she escaped the yard a few times. A low energy, teddy bear of a pup, Sugar Bear (Sugar for short) is heartworm positive and going through fast kill treatment right now with her foster. Sugar is a little overweight at close to 50 lbs, and prefers hanging out with her people instead of playing with the younger dogs. Sugar Bear would be fab for a family who wanted a mature, housebroken, calm, mellow pup to cuddle and snuggle with on the couch or bed.
