Summer joined BCSAVE with her (likely) sister, Winter in September 2021. Around 44 lbs and heartworm negative, Summer was found as a stray and taken to the shelter. We are estimating her age around 2 years or so, and she seems to have had at least one litter of puppies. Summer is a calm, laid back girl. She wants nothing more than to spend her time sitting next to her human. She loves her sister Winter and gets along with other dogs, but her preference is to be by your side. She can get a little jealous if another dog comes up and will try to push her way into the front, but is easily redirected. Summer also loves her treats and does well on a leash. She has great house manners and should be a fantastic family dog for someone looking for a mellow pup to love.
