Twilight is a year old, tri-colored BC mix boy who was transferred to BCSAVE from another rescue. He originally was surrendered in Lubbock TX, where he and a littermate were thought to be deaf. It turned out that Twilight is not deaf but does have some serious trust of people issues. A fairly unsocialized, Twilight and his littermate lived in kennels for several months before going into a foster home, where he began to learn to trust people. Unfortunately, he has pretty high prey drive and injured a resident cat. He has since been moved to a cat free home.
Twilight is still unsure around people and does not walk on a leash outside though he has been working on indoor leash training okay. He will go in to his crate when asked and loves other dogs and will run and play. He does have a habit of circling and nipping people, so no small kids for this guy. He has zero food aggression and seems to be house trained. So far, he seems to be a moderately active pup who can stay inside if needed. He will need a steady, patient hand and some work to get him acclimated to being a house dog.
