Winter joined BCSAVE with her (likely) sister, Summer in September 2021. Around 38 lbs and heartworm negative, Winter was found as a stray and taken to the shelter. Winter is more of an independent spirit than Summer, often found exploring the yard and playing with other pups. Winter also loves water, and often goes to take a dip in the pond on her own. A moderately active pup, Winter does like her people but is more likely found in the company of other dogs. And when Winter is done for the day (or the hour), she will fall asleep in a corner or a crate until refreshed and she can start again. She’ll be great for an urban dweller or a suburban home and will make a great walking or running partner.
