Wren was a BC mix out of Kansas, part of a group of pups saved by several different rescues from the US and Canada. A beautiful girl, Wren had markings like an Anatolian Shepherd, but the body frame of a Border Collie. She was a wonderfully sweet pup, wanting to be a lap dog even though she was around 50 lbs. She got along great with other dogs and loved people, even though she could be shy at first, probably due to the fact that she had lived in a kennel her whole life and never been socialized. Like Piper, Wren had a great personality but for some reason, failed to generate very much adoption interest locally. However, through a partnership with Relinquished Souls Animal Rescue in Canada, we shared Wren with potential adoptive families in Nova Scotia and almost immediately, several families indicated interest and after a four day journey over land, Wren traveled to Nova Scotia. After a day of getting acclimated, Wren was a natural snow dog and has found her FURever family in the north!
